OUR STORY

Built on American Engineering

Altumint began in 2005 as a division of an aerospace engineering company that built precision LiDAR sensing technology. That heritage still runs through everything we do, and it is why we design, build, and maintain our full suite of traffic safety technology right here in the United States.

Because we build it ourselves, we stand behind every part of it. We handle each step of the process in-house, and our violation processing never leaves the country or goes to a third party. When you partner with Altumint, you are working directly with the people who build the technology and run the program.

That ownership shows up in how we work. We keep our promises, we are straight with our partners, and we don’t claim to be first, most, or best unless we can prove it.

First in Virginia and Florida

Altumint was the first provider to launch active photo safety programs in both Virginia and Florida, building trust in communities that had never tried photo safety before. When agencies want to start a traffic safety program, we do it right and we do it from scratch.
