Altumint Named Finalist for 2024 Green Cross for Safety Award 

Altumint is thrilled to announce that we have advanced to the finalist stage for the prestigious 2024 Green Cross for Safety® Award, presented by the National Safety Council (NSC). This recognition underscores our unwavering commitment to community safety through our innovative Work Zone Speed Enforcement Program in Suffolk, VA.

The Green Cross for Safety awards celebrate outstanding leadership in safety, both on and off the job. We are deeply honored to be recognized alongside other influential organizations that have significantly impacted safety standards. 

Our nomination in the Safety Advocate category reflects our success in raising awareness and transforming safety practices through technology and innovation. The Suffolk Work-Zone Speed Enforcement Program has proven highly effective in reducing speeding within work zones, thereby protecting construction workers, motorists, and pedestrians alike. 

Looking Ahead to the 2024 Green Cross Celebration 

The winner of the Green Cross for Safety Award will be revealed at the 2024 Green Cross Celebration, presented by U.S. Steel, on Monday, September 16, at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT®. This event not only honors the finalists and winners but also supports the NSC’s mission to keep people safe in all aspects of life.
