Altumint Announces Richard Harris as Chief Technology Officer
Harris to spearhead new projects, including the launch of the Viocam Vision System designed to support law enforcement
GLENARDEN, Maryland, June 6, 2024— Altumint is pleased to formally announce the addition of Richard Harris as Chief Technology Officer. Richard brings three decades of industry experience to this role and will manage Altumint’s technology function in its entirety. With a strong track record of creating development organization efficiency, Richard has proven expertise in software development, planning, strategy design, and execution.

As the former Chief Technology Officer at DRB Systems Inc., a leading provider of turnkey car wash solutions, Richard led a 150-person engineering organization. During his tenure, he stabilized the product portfolio, doubled new development activity, and brought innovations to market. He also oversaw platform development of a high-availability, cloud-enabled modern platform, while supporting changing market needs and addressing the influx of large enterprise customers.
Prior to his role at DRB Systems Inc., Richard served as Vice President of Design and Innovation at Diebold Nixdorf, where he led all design and user experience activities. He played a key role in repositioning Diebold Nixdorf as a leader in innovation, guiding the design of the latest generation ATMs and spearheading concept projects that demonstrated industry thought leadership.
Richard will play an integral role in leading Altumint’s technology strategies and moving the company forward. Altumint engineers, manufactures, and supports a visual technology system and citation process using artificial intelligence to capture data on vehicles and people who break the law.
